None at all air pollution has no effect to the animals or plants because there is none there think about it what can cause air pollution in the desert in the first place, there is no traffic there no factories air pollution never made it that far because the trees on the way filtered the air hope that answers your question.

It might lead to acid rain. Although it might have a positive effect because more carbon dioxide is good for plants as they use it for photosynthesis.
