Some of the job opportunities include working as a farm specialist, field expert and representative or as a food processor. - Pomology - This horticulture are deals with the cultivation and selling of fruits. The job opportunities are pretty much similar with the jobs found in olericulture. The only thing is that it focuses on fruits. - Postharvest physiology - This is the last among the areas in horticulture that deals with the maintenance of food quality and prevention of horticultural crop spoilage. Job opportunities in this area are related to storage, conservation and preservation of both vegetables and fruits.
