    Problem # 2: Land Is Too Hilly With Eroding Soil


    If your property sits atop a rockless incline, you can consider importing some rocks to effectively cut down the possibilities of soil erosion. Retaining walls are also wonderful solutions using timbers; some salvaged railroad ties, landscaping blocks and concrete. After you have built a dry wall, you can then set some plants along the walls to further anchor the soil. Among the highly recommended plants is the Blue Rug Juniper Shrub, which is a low growing evergreen.
