Fog 'Em Down For Now - Mosquito Fogger
The great selection of mosquito fogger depends on the amount of mosquitoes in your area. This shall determine the size of the mosquito fogger that you will use. Where you live also verifies your need for a mosquito fogger. If you have a fountain or water area and using larva mosquito dunks still keep you noticing mosquitoes around, then you may want to use a mosquito fogger to eliminate those flying insects in your patio. Also, if you live near a lake or stream, then you might find that you have a bigger problem. In this case, repellents and citronella oil may not be enough to kill the mosquitoes around you. You need a mosquito fogger. Using a mosquito fogger will probably not only kill on contact those pesky mosquitoes, but also other flies, spiders, and gnats that can become a nuisance to your property. You might need to use a mosquito fogger indoors or outdoor areas so start selecting from the range of mosquito fogger machines available. You can choose from portable gas-powered machines to electric models. There are also mosquito foggers available for use in single rooms. These foggers usually come in a can that you set off before exiting a room. Before using a mosquito fogger, make sure that you remove away all pets and food or anything you do not want to get damp by the fogger. Once the fogger has emptied, you must wait about 3-4 hours before re-entering the area. The insecticide must be sprayed when the mosquitoes are present especially in early evening. Also, it must be reapplied regularly since insecticides are only time-limit effective. Although mosquito foggers are often used to manage insects in backyards, gardens and patios, foggers can also be used indoors, making them convenient as ever in spraying much larger areas than ordinary insect sprays do. Wherever a mosquito lurks, it surely will find it. However, the insecticides used in a mosquito fogger may cause mild or severe allergic reactions. They can also negatively impact the environment. The fogger sprays are indiscriminate, killing every insect around including ladybugs, butterflies, and praying mantises. Since foggers work by spraying insecticide into the air in fine droplets, a breeze can easily blow the insecticide beyond the treatment area. And when mosquitoes survive the attack then they come back stronger. Mosquitoes can build-up immunity to the pesticide, and you will have to spray more and more often. At least for now you will be able to have a clear area, free of flying and biting insects. |
