Reducing The Risks Of Mosquito Bites
We all are at risk of mosquito bites notwithstanding, and the equivalent reaction it gives to our bodies. Every time we pass by the woods, go out camping, hang out in the porch, work in the garden, and while we're sleeping - there is a risk for mosquito bites, its accompanying diseases, or scars from the itch. As long as there will be blood for their feeding and mosquitoes breeding - there will always be risks, risks for mosquito bites, risk for disease. The least we could do is to reduce it, be protected from it, prepare for it, to prevent it. You may not be getting a lot of mosquito bites by following these: staying out of mosquito prone areas, being on a lookout especially during mosquito meal time in the evening (some such as dengue-carriers attack at day), preparing for late summer mosquito mating season, using repellants, natural control, clearing your site to eliminate breeding sites, reducing the source, wearing protective clothing, taking rational mosquito bites preventive measures, being concerned, being aware, staying informed and updated, whether on health- related issues or the newest innovation, products, or methods of mosquito reduction. Of course each of these measures has varying degrees of effectiveness. Doing nothing though will end you up either having a sting irritation or dengue. Although the chances that any one person is going to become ill from a mosquito bite is considerably low, the bad news still is that if you work or play in the woods or just have more mosquitoes around you, your chances for getting mosquito bites go up and over therefore also increasing your exposure to mosquito- borne diseases. Prevention is quite necessary in one form or another. Anything you do to prevent mosquito bites means you will have less to worry about your health in the weeks and months to come. You might want to start counting your sting marks and listening to the distinctive high- pitched buzzes, while of course without forgetting: you prevent mosquitoes, you prevent mosquito bites, you prevent disease. |
