    Gardens And Outdoor Wind Chimes: Relaxing After A Stressful Day

    The lovely sound of outdoor wind chimes is a balm to the soul. After a long and stressful day at the office, there is nothing more soothing than to sit in your garden and listen to the sound of the outdoor wind chimes. Well, you might consider this is some kind of wishful thinking especially if you happen to live in the 8th floor of an apartment building. But, if you are resourceful enough, you can always turn that little balcony of yours into a small garden where you can sit after a long day and listen to the sound of your outdoor wind chimes.

    Setting Up Your Garden

    If you want to set up a small garden in your apartment balcony, it would be a good idea to first measure the space of the balcony. If your balcony is quite small, you might want to consider buying one of those wrought iron plant holders where you can put several puts on. The good thing about using these wrought iron plant holders is that you can save a lot of space and put in more plants. For your plants, choose those ornamental plants that doe not really grow big. You cannot afford to have large plants in a small balcony.

    When setting up your garden, do not forget to leave a small space where you can fit in an outdoor chair and a small table. If there is not enough space for the table, it's alright; you can just clear a small space on the floor near your chair so that you can put your stuff there.

    Getting Your Outdoor Wind Chimes

    When getting outdoor wind chimes for your small balcony garden, choose those smaller chimes that give out softer sounds. Since your area is very small and will mostly likely be hanging your outdoor wind chimes near you, there is no point of buying those big outdoor wind chimes. Besides, the sound of large outdoor wind chimes loudly clanging right on top of your head may not be relaxing at all.

    Small bamboo outdoor wind chimes will usually go well with small gardens. The good thing about these small bamboo outdoor wind chimes is that they do not emit loud sounds and they are not really very expensive compared to the other types of outdoor wind chimes. However, if you use bamboo outdoor wind chimes, take care not to expose it too much to the rain because bamboo tends to deteriorate faster if it is exposed to water often.
