    Making And Tuning Wind Chimes

The art of making and tuning wind chimes is actually quite complex and not for the faint of heart. Of course, if a person really wants to annoy the neighborhood a good set of out of tune wind chimes will do the trick although a set of ear plugs will be needed for the owner as well. But, seriously, wind chimes that are well tuned will be beautiful for all to hear and the enjoyment of having them will be long lasting.

The amateur wind chime maker should spend a considerable amount of time learning about how to make and tune wind chimes before they even begin to gather the materials for their wind chimes. The making and tuning of wind chimes actually has everything to do with physics and laws of nature. There are actual formulas for tuning the wind chimes to various scales. Knowing and understanding all this information prior to beginning the project will make the experience a much better one.

This book offers and in depth explanation of how to build and tune a terrific set of wind chimes. The book comes with an audio CD for extra help. This book can be found or ordered by most book stores and should cost under twenty dollars.
